After the success of previous Covid immunisation campaigns, General Practice in South Warwickshire is once again delivering Covid vaccinations in the Autumn Booster Campaign. Most practices are delivering their own vaccinations and details of your practice’s arrangements will be available locally with invites being sent by the practice.
SWGP is delivering the booster campaign on behalf of Arden PCN; clinics start from the 7th of October and will be held over four consecutive Saturdays. Our team will be vaccinating both housebound patients and those aged 75 and over.
Our clinics will run from Alcester Health Centre and Henley in Arden Medical Centre and will be open from 8:30 am until 5:30pm, but are strictly by appointment only.
SWGP is also vaccinating housebound patients for the Arden practices. Patients are being booked now, and our teams will commence vaccinating patients from the 2nd October.
Invites are now being sent to eligible patients via TXT message to book an appointment at one of our clinics. It is possible that patients may also receive an invite via the national service from 119. If patients receive more than one invite, they can choose to book via the 119 service or through the Federation invite. Each practice has an option on their phone menu for Covid Vaccination queries.
Booster doses of vaccines are being given which have been approved for this age group and cohort of eligible patients. These vaccines have been updated and will target different COVID-19 variants.
