If you or someone you care about has been diagnosed with dementia, support is available through the Alzheimer’s Society – and you can refer yourself directly.
The Alzheimer’s Society offers a free, confidential service for people living with dementia and their family or friends. Dementia Advisers are on hand to provide 1-to-1 support tailored to your needs, whether you’re living with dementia yourself or supporting a loved one.
Support is available for:

- Advance Care Planning decisions e.g. LPA
- Advice and emotional support as dementia progress and behaviour changes
- Support to access adult social care and to look at things like day care, respite etc that may help ease the burden on a family carer
- Support to speak to other professionals- we signpost and refer to many other professionals and organisations.
- Signposting to local dementia support groups
- Support through to end of life
This service is commissioned by Warwickshire County Council and is completely free to use.
