Stoptober is back this October, encouraging people across the country to take the first step towards stopping smoking and join thousands of others making a quit attempt.
If you’re thinking about quitting, you don’t have to do it alone.
Our free Stop Smoking Support service works with GP practices across Warwickshire to provide personalised support to help people quit smoking for good.
Since launching earlier this year, the service has already supported hundreds of people across Warwickshire to take steps towards becoming smoke free.
How can we help?
Our free 12-week programme is available to people aged 12 and over who live, work or study in Warwickshire, or are registered with a Warwickshire GP.
Support is tailored to your individual needs and can include:
- One-to-one support from a qualified stop smoking adviser, usually at a local GP practice
- Support through the Smoke Free app, helping you stay on track wherever you are
- Nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) to help manage cravings
- Stop smoking medication and vape quit support for eligible adults
- Expert advice and practical support to help you manage cravings, withdrawal symptoms and triggers
You can access support face-to-face, online or by telephone, depending on what works best for you.

Stopping smoking can be challenging, and it can take more than one attempt. Whether you’re thinking about quitting for the first time or you’ve tried before, getting the right support can help you stay on track.
