Dr Cristina Ramos named a finalist for the PMA Awards 2026 Outstanding Contribution to General Practice award.We’re delighted to share the wonderful news that Dr Cristina Ramos, Chair of SWGP and GP at Rother House Medical Centre, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the PMA Awards 2026.
Cristina has been recognised in the Outstanding Contribution to General Practice category, celebrating her contribution to excellence across health and social care.

Cristina was nominated in recognition of her contribution to general practice and the difference she has made across our organisation and the wider primary care community, including:

  • Her overriding commitment to patient care – reflected in the feedback received from her patients

  • Her commitment to growing primary care and supporting general practice to have a greater role in supporting patients

  • Her leadership at a local level and collaborative approach to partnership working which has seen SWGP and IPC develop innovative services at scale, leading to more community-based services for our communities

  • Her commitment to staff development, providing mentoring and development opportunities across the organisations she is involved with

  • National recognition of Cristina’s role in developing neighbourhood working to provide more joined up care for patients

The PMA Awards 2026 ceremony will take place on Wednesday 7th October 2026 at Best Practice, Birmingham NEC, where this year’s finalists will be celebrated and the winners announced.

We’re incredibly proud to see Cristina’s work recognised on a national stage and it’s fantastic to have South Warwickshire GP Federation represented among this year’s PMA Awards finalists.
