As part of a green prescribing project funded through the South Warwickshire Place Partnership, a range of nature-based wellbeing courses are now available for patients in multiple locations.
Spending time in nature has been shown to boost mental and physical well-being. These free courses aim to support individuals facing mental or physical health challenges, including neurodivergent adults with long term health conditions as well as those experiencing loneliness or recovering from addiction. Patients can be referred or can self-refer.
Two different course types are available:
- Woodland Wellbeing Course
Sessions are held on Wednesdays 10am until 3pm over 7 weeks at Tallis Wood, Radford Semele. Lunch, refreshments and local transport provided. The first session is a taster with no obligation to continue.- Spring: 26th February to 9th April
- Summer: 4th June to 16th July
- Autumn: 3rd September to 15th October

- Time in Nature Wellbeing Course
A more flexible 6-week course designed to help neurodivergent adults with long term health conditions connect with nature, available in different settings across Kenilworth, Warwick, Leamington, and Stratford-upon-Avon. These run weekly from 1-2:30pm.
