SWGP is set to welcome new faces to the SWGP Board in September following a successful recruitment drive.
The Federation is pleased to welcome:
Michael Cordner
Dr Michael Cordner joins our board in September as our new Medical Director. Michael will be responsible for clinical quality, safety and governance across all clinical services.
Michael is a GP Partner at Bridge House Medical Centre and the Clinical Director for Stratford Primary Care Network. He has a specialist interest in GP Training and primary care development.
Oliver Rintoul-Hoad
Dr Oliver Rintoul-Hoad joins our board in September to focus on our ARRS work stream and the opportunities and challenges this presents.
Oliver is a salaried GP at Hastings House Medical Centre. Prior to general practice he had a successful seven year career in finance and management roles and is passionate about delivering positive change.
Ben Atkins
Dr Ben Atkins joins our team as an Associate Director, with immediate effect, to focus on the delivery of Extended Access and the development of urgent care pathways. Ben has significant experience in establishing the Frailty Service at UHCW and will help us to provide responsive and high performing services for the contracts held and explore opportunities for new and effective pathways.
The new directors will replace Dr Mike Caley and Dr Mel Wood, who stepped down from their director roles at the Federation recently, and Jon Moll who is due to step down at the end of August.
