Spring Covid vaccinations get underway

SWGP Federation is now operating a spring Covid vaccination service on behalf of many practices in South Warwickshire, including offering Covid vaccines to 5-11 year olds for the first time.

Over 75s and over 12s with suppressed immune systems can now receive a spring booster vaccine and all healthy 5-11 year olds are now eligible for a low dose Covid vaccine.

Vaccines are available for all eligible patients registered at the following practices:

  • Alcester Health Centre
  • Arrow Surgery
  • Bridge House Medical Centre
  • Budbrooke Medical Centre
  • Fenny Compton Surgery
  • Harbury Surgery
  • Hastings House Surgery
  • Henley-in-Arden Medical Centre
  • Kineton Surgery
  • Lapworth Surgery
  • Meon Medical Centre
  • Pool Medical Centre
  • Rother House Medical Centre
  • Shipston Medical Centre
  • Southam Surgery
  • St Wulfstan Surgery
  • Tamworth in Arden Medical Centre

Patients registered at Trinity Court and Bidford on Avon surgeries will also be vaccinated, but are being provided directly by the local practice.

SWGP Federation is also providing vaccinations for healthy 5-11 year olds for all the surgeries above.

The vaccines are available until the end of May at local clinics in Southam (in clinic), Stratford-upon-Avon (at the Hospital) and Studley (in the village hall). Eligible patients will automatically be contacted to book an appointment.

SWGP will also be providing vaccinations for care homes and housebound patients. 

Missed a vaccine?

Catch-up vaccines are also available for anyone over the age of 12 who hasn’t yet had their first, second or booster vaccination. Please contact 119 to book your appointment.
