What is included?
PC Surge provides remote GP sessions, on behalf of the practice with up to 20 patient consultations being delivered by phone during each session. Patient data is retained within the GP practice’s EMIS system, with access to the patient consultation list enabled remotely for the GP Surge team. Practices can audit the activity, with all relevant patient information retained and updated locally.
How can it help my practice?
The service is designed for urgent use only, in response to workforce difficulties that will impact on the day to day running of the practice patient care delivery.
The service has been really well received, with over 14,000 telephone appointments delivered to date on behalf of practices across Coventry and Warwickshire.
